Young Luca was an active boy when the Bremmer side of the family came round for Easter dinner. He had a new trick, too....being able to sit up without being held.
To my surprise it was snowing again this morning, although the snow does not stay long with the temperature being just above freezing.
Most people don't dream of a white Easter, but this year maybe they will have nightmares! Our climate has been misbehaving quite a bit in the last year and the start of Spring is no exception. Holland has been coping with colder than usual temperatures (-4.4 degrees) and even some snow, making it the coldest Easter since 1964!!
The signs seemed to be positive, but our climate appears to have had a relapse: Spring has arrived, but the weather resembles a wet and grey Dutch autumn.
It appears that winter is ending. The last weeks have been slightly grey, wet and cold, but since a couple of days the sky has shown more and more blue. The trees in my street, one of the nicest streets in the neighbourhood, are still in winter mode, though.
Uncle Ben went to visit his nephew Luca again after a couple of weeks and he, too, has grown like cabbage! Every time I see him he is more active and more lively, but always just as lovable!!
